Cave of Creeps and Clarinets

Filed under: Music — Tags: — Screenhog @ 7:46 pm

I’ve added Song #19 to the Music Player! It’s called “Cave of Creeps and Clarinets”, and it’s playing right now in an exclusive area of Club Penguin’s Halloween party. Here’s a direct link to the song.

The inspiration from this song came from the Club Penguin team’s desire to make a song that was equal parts spooky and jazzy, in a similar style to the “Grim Grinning Ghosts” song from the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland. I’m not a huge Halloween fan, but it seemed like a pretty fun challenge, and I’m quite happy with how it turned out.

Oh, and that eerie melody halfway through the song? That’s me whistling, with a whole lot of echo added.

  2. It’s always fun to see some way-cool new stuffs of the musical sort in the game, and you did a good job on “Cave of Creeps and Clarinets”; and I also enjoy the fact that you put a bit of Toccata and Fugue in there.

Keep up the good work, dude.
